Yes, the base did re-flood. unfortunately i had turned off the power and so this flooded onto the floor before i realised.
where would you look first for leak- this machine is more complex than any i have looked into before!

Re: Bosch diswhashter: pump repeatedly running when off

hi i finally got to look at it last night. There was some water in the base. i tipped it out and then used a hair dryer to dry the rest- not enouth space to put a hand in the side. the result was that i could run a cycle. by the end of the wash it was showing E15 and flashing check water light.
it is very hard to see how water is getting into the base as there is a lot of bits all around it.
i did notice that there was water dribbling into the appliance as i mentioned in my original post, which suggests to me that there is a problem with the valve that should turn off the supply within the machine
    any thoughts?

    great thank you –
ok i did that in the past on other models so i will get on with that later tonight. anything else i should look for beyond escaped water?

ok that makes sense. i will have a look – i can start to undo screws to look below the washing area- i suppose the first ones are by the filters in the centre of the base, does that make sense?

Re: Bosch diswhashter: pump repeatedly running when off

    Hi thanks for your message
the base becomes flooded if i turn off the power at the wall because of a trickle of incoming water – which stops if i manually turn off the water supply at the hose tap. however this flooding is pumped away successfully when i turn on the power at the wall. after it is all pumped away, the pump goes off for a minute or so, then comes back on again for a few minutes, then off for a minute then on again for 3 mins, even if there is no new water coming in (because of the tap being off) and almost no water in the bottom of the machine, even in the sump under the filters. does that help?
