Hello again, I’ve fitted a new pump that I ordered from this site (£40 cheaper than elsewhere thanks!). It fits perfectly, apart from a little jigging around with the electrical connector, but I noticed when I fitted it that the old one was 25w and the new one is 30w. Is that likely to cause a problem?
After one wash everything seemed fine and I felt very pleased with myself but today the machine seems to be jumping through its spin cycle or refusing to spin. All pipes are clear and the bottle shaped filter at the back is fine. Any ideas anyone?
Thanks as always

With the appliance unplugged :plug: , it may be worth checking the sump ball situated in the recess of the sump hose just below where it attaches to base of tank.
There is a chance that sand may have jammed the ball thus blocking the tank water off and stopping it reaching the drain pump assembly 😀Greg
Would that be the squashy ball underneath the machine and towards the front?

Rule of thumb: If you can’t blow down the hose, sure as hell water ain’t going to pass thru it either! :rolls:Yes the hose seems clear. I hand pumped the water back through it to clear the drum so I reckon it’s ok

Thanks for that. the impellor seems to be free and it turns. There’s a sort of white bottle attached to the waste pipe at the back of the machine (on the inside that is. I had to take the back off to see it) just before the waste pape exits and goes on to the exterior part of the waste pipe. What is is? And is it possible it’s blocked?
