    Yes first thing we tried poured water into top ,switched on, pump started, out came water.
    I didnt measure water but it was comming out in a nice steady flow
    but when pump stopped some water flowed back into chamber and was sucked out by the fan. If you watched carefully you could see droplets being sucked upwards onto htr

    Thanks for the reply ,it is only a small amount of water that comes into the chamber ,but that water is then dragged up into the heater by the fan you can see the water in the chamber with the cover off being sucked out of the chamber and being sprayed onto the heater
    fan removed pump removed chamber checked no water behind condensor

    Dont have an account with them. qualtex do one for the MIELE 300-400-600-800-900-1000 SERIES does that mean it will fit a w820

    I agree, if it wasnt for the cost of diesel and the distance between jobs

    Hi Andy thanks for the sites ,nobody seems to list this appliance ,he did fetch it back from New Zealand .

    Hi will check with the engineer ,where is the motor controller
