Thanks for your reply, Don…it’s much appreciated.
I have ‘installed’ my existing 26 year old Zanussi Z9191T machine…which has moved house with me three times before…so I’ll have probably a go with the Miele myself first, I think….before getting a professional in. Living on just less than a basic state pension each week, an engineers fees can be very hard to meet! The cost of the Miele itself had to come out of my savings pot but having a very restricted space for a new machine… in a very small kitchen, there’s no room for machine movement at all. So it had to be a good’un…no choice, otherwise!
I’ve now got a fellow OAP friend to assist me with trying to move the item in but if we can’t get it moved into place without potentially damaging the machine or ourselves, I’ll get that professional help….
