    I have the SGS 5342. the float is behind the left-hand side panel towards the front. The ‘tugidity’ sensor, i think, is attached to the heater and comprises an LED and optical sensor – checks for the opacity of the water, until clean. I think this is the heart of teh Hydrosensor feature.

    I know all this because I have and SGS5342 in bits, trying to sort a problem where the water won’t heat!
