    I’m not sure exactly what the cause of my problem is. It is only the top end of the drainage hose that ices up, from the exit hole in the fridge up to where the hose starts to curve downwards. After defrosting recently, hoping this would cure the problem, I think I could hear ice cracking and dropping somewhere in the fridge but outside the fridge compartment. Reading past messages regarding similar problems with a Neff, the guy had cured it by cutting through the insulation at the back and fixing a small crack in the hose close to the exit hole where water had been seaping out and icing up.
    I don’t think I have a defrost heater! not sure.
    I’d appreciate any further thoughts. Thanks again.
