    Re: Help – Diplomat ADP8322 Doesnt fill with water

    Problem has now been sorted thankyou.
    For anyone else following with the same problems here is the info;
    I removed the connector from the PCB and attached an ohm-meter to the connections, leaving the PCB in its correct working position. The meter showed a low resistance, (0-ohms on my cheepo meter).
    I started the wash cycle and even with the impeller spinning, still 0-ohms. It appeared that the reed switch had welded itself together.
    I took the PCB out of the housing and down to Maplins where I purchased 2-off CL37 Micro Reed switches at £1.29 each, good job I purchased two as I wrecked the first one trying to bend the wires into place.
    BEFORE YOU UNSOLDER AND REMOVE THE OLD REED SWITCH be careful to notice exactly how the original is orientated. I removed the old reed Switch and soldered the new one into place.
    I then replaced the PCB back into the correct position on the machine.
    I connected the ohm-meter acros the PCB connections and 0-ohms was showing.
    I started a wash cycle and when water was flowing the meter showed over 99 ohms ( which is a maximum on my meter), I assumed that this meant that the reed switch was switching ok.
    Connected system back together and started a wash cycle. HEY PRESTO

    Re: Help – Diplomat ADP8322 Doesnt fill with water

    I have tried the given solution to my problem to no avail.
    I have cleaned the printed circuit board connections on the water flow impeller, (via removal of left hand side panel) (this thing is mounted towards the bottom left hand side with two black wires connected to it). Closed up connector so that a tight connection is made between the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and the two pin connector. Removed front panel and cleaned connections to “the other end”. Problem is still present (7-flashes then a delay, ditto, etc).
    I have since monitored the machine whilst executing the wash cycle and the following happens;
    1. Wash cycle started.
    2. Remnant water is pumped out, everything is fine and flowing well.
    3. The mains supply fresh water input cycle then starts, as can be monitored from the left hand side of the machine with the panel removed (look at the great big plastic lump with wires on the bottom left hand side). (This water flowing in the machine turns round the impeller which has a magnet mounted on it. The PCB presumably picks up the magnetic rotations in the form of electromagnetic pulses back to the controller).
    3. Machine pauses, starts flashing and peeping, (7-times), and pumps out the water.
    I have removed this PCB (numbered 61616 03) and it has, what I think is a reed switch mounted on it. Is it likely that this PCB needs replacing, or is the problem possibly at the other end of these black wires?
    More info required please.
    4. I pull my hair out.

    Re: Help – Diplomat ADP8322 Doesnt fill with water

    I have tried to run through the cycle again and the machine empties the existing water out and starts to fill with fresh water. The water then stops entering and the audible alarm starts. when I then opened the door the green display light flashes 7 times and then stops and repeats the same pattern. Thanks for any help which you may be able to supply.
