I have tested the element an this appears to be OK – is there anything else that may be to blame?Mark

OK so I think I have found the reason for the failure. The main over switch selector has lost one of the little spring connectors (second from the left) – see picture.
is this the part I need?

I’ve seen in another thread about bypassing the clock. Is this a workable option? (I’ve never used the clock or timer function)mark.kneen

Any pointers on what to look for? measurements to take etc..?

We have switched of the oven and left it for a while to reset the clock. Still no life in the oven. (orange light does not operate nor does the fan)
