    Re: Brandt Fridge Freezer Help

    Thanks.

PCB is on its way. Should get it today.

Is there a general process to installing this.

I’d rather not defrost the unit because of the frozen goods. Is there no way i can turn it off and the freezer should keep temperature for a while at least until I install the PCB.

If it has to be defrosted then I’ll have to do that.

It is in fact the Brandt CFA361XU.

Do you think I should replace the PCB?

If so, I will order one today.

    Re: Brandt Fridge Freezer Help

Not sure of the difference between air blown or wet blown. The diagram in the instruction manual indicated that air was blown from the freezer up into the fridge. Not sure where this air comes into the fridge though as there are no vents etc. Unless its just a case of the walls themselves cooling?

One other thing to note is that occasionally you can hear the unit humming (usual sounds) so this just confuses the issue.

Could it just be a simple case of turning it off for a while and then back on?

I’ll have to wait until I get home from work to check out the model number.
