    To be honest I havent defrosted my freezer yet. If I turned it of and stuck a pan of boiling water then shut the door, would this speed the process up.

    Ive got nowhere to put my sons frozen goodies.

    do you reakon also that the problem wont rectify itself if I just put up with the noise for a few days.
