    Hi Dave,

I’ve taken it apart again and took another close look but don’t see anything visibly damaged on the board.
I’ve emailed around to find a second hand replacement PCB but can’t find any.
Currently seriously considering getting a replacement machine..

    Hi Dave,

I’ve replaced the triac and put everything back together. Unfortunately the same problem is still there.
As soon as I switch on the dishwasher it starts pumping again.
The buttons don’t light up and do not respond. (same as before) picture

Any other ideas on what could be causing this? I’d like to keep this machine in use instead of binning it if I can..

    Regards, Max

Soldering is no problem. I’ve ordered the part, it should arrive in a week, apparently it needs to come from Germany. I’ll update on the outcome here.

Actually, after taking a closer look I noticed this:

Some plastic broken off on one of the components. Maybe because of internal failure of this component?
Do you think this could be causing the problem?

EDIT: Yes indeed! Just seeing your message above now

Thanks for the help so far!
I opened up the PCB. Unfortunately I don’t see any damage / burn marks or anything like that. Here are some pictures.
