Understood, thanks for your input.

I’ve tested the thermostat for continuity using a multimeter and it passed – I’ll run a temp test when I can.

Oh right, the full product number is FFRM1812PAI_WH (although I’m guessing WH stands for the colour = white).

Is it worth me chancing it with a new thermostat? I think they’re less than £30.

The model number is FFRM1812PAI.

Towards to the top of the fridge compartment, where is the fan is.

One lump of ice is to the left and the other is to the right of the fan, like so: https://i.imgur.com/d5g9Dq8.png
