Oops – it was premature to say it’s working.
Running the machine with the board out of the panel, it seems to work fine/normally through a complete cycle. With the board installed so that the lug on the panel actuates the size switch as it’s supposed to do, it throws error code 9.
I presume that with this model, size is set only by the lug/switch, so there isn’t a procedure to set size by button presses.… a few hours later:
Found a comment in a post in another thread by Penguin45.
“Push and hold “START/PAUSE”, then push power button.”That seems to reset it all right – I guess somewhere above I powered it up with display board not inserted in the front panel while start/pause switch was faulty, so accidentally reset size in the power board while the size wasn’t set on the display board by the lug on the rear of the main panel, then re-inserted the board so that the size switch was actuated, hence it threw up a size error code (9) when reassembled, but ran fine with the display board loose as it was telling the power board that the machine was the “correct” wrong size that I’d accidentally programmed.
Seems to be working just fine now. -
