No luck from the spares, they stated don’t do one for this model. Now after reading the post above I see why.

We had tried checking it was attached properly and it was, so that didn’t seem to be the problem

Therefore, we have given in and bought a new one as this was almost 8 years old. so I suppose if we ended up fixing it, it probably wouldn’t last that much longer anyway
