My summary of the threads is that if I had funds upto about £4,500 I should be looking at range cookers from:

– Falcon
– Brittannia
– Mercury

Unfortunately my budget doesn’t stretch that far.

I have upto about £2,000 to spend and although the Rangemaster Toledo 90 is mentioned as a reasonable cooker, can I ask forum members who have used Rangemaster cookers what they think of the quality?

Alternatively, what cooker can I get that meets the specs that we need (see first post) that use decent parts and are robust for up to £2,000.
