    Re: CH5 Area Fridge work

George, you could try Phil Taylor. I used him for many years but I am only doing microwaves now. He is in the Wrexham area but did all CH postcodes for us. pm me if you can’t find his details.

Hi. Part number from Panasonic is AMC8P97AM000 which changes to AMC99N-XL00E and in stock.

I will check my own stock later today to see if I have one here for you.

Whats the Smeg full part number? I have two base elements in stock but not sure if one of them is what you require.

Possibly the arcing has damaged the magnetron which lives behind the waveguide cover. Get it into a microwave specialist to diagnose it properly

    You gotta love Currys!

Did you see their Tech Guys on Watchdog this week? They are SO incompetent.

There is a mod involving a pcb replacement and fitting of a defrost heater and a deflector plate. (One of the BSH guys may be able to advise further).
I think I have all these bits in stock if you require them – I don’t so they will be cheap! pm me if you need them.

Been to Michael Owen too, when he was in Hawarden. Also, Jimmy Corkhills brother from Brookside, whatsisname? He had a posh flat in Chester. Funniest visit though was meeting Stan Boardman at his home in Willaston! Oh, and not forgetting the Duke Of Westminster at Eaton Hall.

Sorry, missed that! If you can get me the Smeg model number I will look it up and see if I have one. I unfortunately have no idea who makes the appliances, I just have some spares for sale.

However, if it is the module I have one for sale if you need it.

Because it is also affecting the clock on the (seperate) oven beneath it, I would remove the microwave and plug it into a different supply for starters. It sounds like a mains problem

Re: NEFF H7871NOGB/03 Combination microwave oven reset code?

I have had two of these lately, Neff and the similar Bosch version.
On both of them it was the chip on the lower display panel knackered from the flashover so had to replace both the display module and power module on each. Very expensive!
