    Thanks for the reply. I had already ruled out the motor capacitor as if I disconnect it completely, the motor does not run at all. When reconnected, it is fine when at half speed (during a water empty cycle) and also at spin. Is it possible that the capacitor is ok for the above motor operations but not when required to just turn the drum slowly to agitate the load??? Thanks.
