ParticipantSeems to have gone bananas. Problems include releasing detergent drawer very early, and showing very long times for wash. It works fine on Rinse cycle, and sometimes on ECO, which seems to be the default. Other times it gives up with one of the above fault codes. It is 8 years old but has had light duty, run every 2 days maximum. Is it worth trying to fix it?

ParticipantThanks. Maybe if I give more information it will help. Machine starts OK and fills correctly for the wash cycle. No alarms.
The problems only come during the rinsing cycle. While it is filling it starts beeping (each fill), but continues filling to what seems a high level – over half way up the door.
It continues and eventually completes the wash. Today the tap symbol stayed on, but the last wash it did not.
There is obviously no shortage of water flow or pressure..From your earlier comments this does seem to be the valve.
Note that although the machine is fairly old it has never had heavy use, as i used to spend a lot of time away from home.MikeTB
ParticipantI have a similar problem. I have checked both ends of the hose and both filters are OK
Today I also noticed that the water level seemed to be far too high, and the foaming symbol appeared at the end of the wash. This seems to suggest the level sensor is blocked, rather than a fault with the triple valve.
I have no problem working on the machine, but it is installed in a limited space and will be difficult to remove for access.
I need to be sure whether I need the valve as I don’t want to remove it all more than once. -
