ParticipantThanks again, I’ll let you know how I get on

ParticipantThanks , I’ll get my daughter to measure it.
Dave, the one you linked shows it in the tray, I removed it without pulling the tray all the way out, should I have?

ParticipantHi all
Well, the element we ordered came back and looks nothing like the one in the oven. While the oven was out I checked it all over for a model number, and couldn’t find anything. The front panel matches a EOSV2, but the element that was in it looks like the one that’s fitted to a EOSV3
This is the element that we ordered, and doesn’t fit:

thanks

ParticipantThank you Dave, that’s the answer I feared.
C’est la vie

ParticipantAll sorted!
thanks for your help Dave, it was the front NTC as per the fault code.
I had new one today. Fitted it and it’s purring away nice & toasty.
Curiosly, it too was open circuit out of the box. I guess it’s not always the sign, but hey ho.
Have a great Christmas, and thanks again.

ParticipantI’ve just pulled the NTC, at room temp it’s open circuit. I dropped the front of it into boiling water and it read about 18k.
After pulling it from the boiling water it stayed on 18k for about 5 – 6 seconds then went straight back to open circuit again.
Good chance it’s this?

ParticipantThanks Dave, I see it.
It’ll probably be tomorrow before I get the chance to test it, I’ll let you all know how I get on.

Participantthat’s fantastic, thank you – I’ve since learned that my daughter has the same model, I’l be using hers as a temporary donor to test parts.
Any links on how to access the front NTC?
