Hi Dave,

Thanks again. The diagrams don’t seem to make full sense to me, there must be a cooling element for the freezer box at the top of the fridge, but it doesn’t appear in any of the diagrams. I’m completely baffled, looks like I’ll have to bite the bullet, and get someone out, or just look for a replacement that will fit the space.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the rapid reply. I’m not sure that is the the problem though. The cooling element for the fridge compartment is at the bottom of the fridge behind a plastic cover. The air is drawn over this by the fan. I’ve taken the plastic cover off, and there is no ice on it, it doesn’t get cold, even when the compressor is working. It looks like the coolant isn’t getting to it, maybe because a valve is stuck, or the electrics are not telling it to open?
