Nope, that one is secured from behind, ie, the screws enter the element mounting plate from the rear, which is an oven out job.
If it’s working, best left alone until it fails really 😉
If you post up the model number of the oven, I should be able to help with part numbers/prices etc for the fan element, not until Wednsesday now though.
Dave.thanks dave
homark model no 02 700301
part no…i looked on the flange…99A 200W E60 20 40112..:)
the double coil is around 190mm dia and the flange bolt centres about 58mm with the element centre at 26mm…can check these if they seem wrong..
do i need to buy a special 6 pointed star screwdriver to get the screws out or is there a ‘tip’ on modifying an ordinary or phillips screwdriver to do this jobfinally since you mentioned oven out…are the 4 screws which go through the side cheeks into the carcase all that holds it in…i may need to know this for future..thanks
i have googled and emailed a bit for spares but havent got replies yet..your offer will be welcomed…
cheers

yes, if you remove these screws the element will extract from the front. The wiring is usually long enough to follow the element for an inch or so. If you pull a wire off its an oven out job to recover from the back
Hope that helps.
Kevinthanks a lot kevin…glad i dont need to take out the oven…
i will be careful with the cables…may attach some restraint to them prior to disconnecting…string or something to rescue them if they jump back…
cheers
geofps that top grill element…with the screws showing coming through from the opposite side..ie not the heads…is that a pull out job?…i could do this one as well as it may go by sod’s law..?

If that’s the only grill symbols there are, it can only be set to either full grill or half grill, both with the fan running. This older model probably didn’t have a cavity cooling fan, so the oven fan will be acting as some form of air distribution to stop the cavity overheating I expect.
Dave.thanks dave
this is what i suspected
there is no cavity for a grill chamber as such…the oven is the cavity so what you say seems to make sense that a fan should be running when grilling…
the exposed element for the grill in the roof of the oven does the grilling and as far as i can see heats the oven as well.
i was googling for the homark site to see if i could get some more info but didnt get too far..just came up with spares suppliers.
thanks again for the reply
