Checked continuity and resistance, bit of contact cleaner and compressed air to blow the fluff out and Hey Presto! works a treat. Many thanks for your advice.

Thanks Dave. Yes, I was going to have the front open and look today. I assume that it is a 240v supply. I’ll check the supply to the lock first.
