Hi everyone…
poor my fridge… inside is still working okay so far…
Alex,
Thank you for your advice.
The discount & second hand whitegoods shop person who came for deliver & fix, he seems the owner of the shop.
It is small shop on the street near where we live.
as i was shouted by the shop’s woman on the phone (she sounded really rough and scary on the phone……..of course, she was very friendly when I went to the shop to buy the item.) the experience make me suspect that they will refuse to give me written report.
plus… on the receipt of the fridge, on the back side, it says ” XX Discount Do not offer a money back guarantee.”
They did not inform me about it in advance. The shop woman put the receipt letter into envelope and handed me so I did not know about the condition till I get home and read the receipt.
I feel… as if i’m taking … expensive lesson….I really thank you all to run this site…. otherwise……. I’d misunderstand about UK products and engineers, service.
I will try to talk to Mr.R tonight, and discuss what action we should take.
and… let you know what’s going on.best regards

Hello… again…
Thank you for your replys…
Alex,
when the shop person came to fix the problem two days ago, he’s done the gas out from the tap without using any vaccum equipment while me and Mr.R were next to him watching.
He DID NOT use any vaccum equipment.
(after the shop person left….and when be backed to kitchen….Mr.R said…. “ow… i can still smell the gas”… )Bryan,
Thank you for your reply.
To be honest…. i’m reluctant to ask to the shop person what kind of gas they’ve recharged….. coz last time when i called to the shop to ask them to come back and check it again…. the woman suddenly got nasty and shouted at me. 🙁As I read everyone’s replys…… now i know how dodgy they are…. and feel it is not safe to ask repair to the shop.
Is it possible to ask at Repair@ to estimate to fix this situation…?

Hello… everyone
and… really thank you for your replys and helps…This morning… inside of the fridge is working okay … but still having frost and makes water puddle on the floor even i try to catch the water with small plastic tray which i placed under the compressor pipe….
Alex,
It has a plastic tray on top of compressor to catch water from black hose. It doesn’t have a tray UNDER compressor & pipe which gets frost.
(I think… no need to have a tray under the compressor & pipe if the fridge works properly.)
I am sorry… i made you foncused… i wish that my explanation about the situation is better (for me… it is difficult to express by words!!).
Thank you for reading patiently….anyway… I checked numbers on the compressor.
I’m not sure which number you need… so…. i took a note of all of numbers.LY11KK6993 <— compressor's upper side

Seriously, this is dangerous, Brandt (IIRC) had an issue with these types of units and one lifted a conservatory off it’s foundations when it blew.ow my god …………………….. 😯
