Hi again 😀

Just a small note to thank you all for your advice regarding my oven problem, as a result of your sound advice my husband has pin pointed the problem to the timer switch.

Seeing that another timer switch is on order now and possibly take a few days to arrive, so would it be safe to use the oven without the timer switch connected?…… (Hubby has by-passed it with the use of a terminal block to connect the two wires together) and it works without any problems.

Could doing this have any safety issues?

The light that’s on is the oven socket light on the wall.

The oven itself is totally dead…
