Took me 5 mins to replace the 1uF cap that arrived today – and now all working well again.

Thanks Dave – will report back FYI once tested and hopefully fixed. I can’t possibly bring myself to spend £70 on a board when it’s probably a £2 cap, and all just to fix a dodgy bulb!

Edited to say, having googled the board – it looks pretty simple, with only a handful of simple components… I might whip it out and have a look and test some of those caps.
