The microswitch appears to be operating correctly. Without pressing the button, I get continuity between 1 and 2, then open circuit when the button is pressed, which gives continuity 1 and 4, open circuit when released.

Anything else I should be checking while the dryer is apart?

Awesome thanks Dave.

I’ve just noticed that when running the door open symbol will flash up and the dryer will stop, so I’m thinking that the door ntc or microswitch is faulty.

I presume the rotary error is motor related or possibly overloading the dryer

​​​​​​Pretty sure the overflow error is old.
