Thank you for the suggestion 1totalshambles, also found the board would shut down with just a program selected but not started. Have found a machine on a well known auction site that the drum bearing had broken up but the rest of it was working fine for £24 It is the next model up WAS32460GB 1600 spin speed where as my machine was a 1400 spin speed model.. Have swapped every thing electrical and electronic (apart from the worn door lock) over into my machine as the body was in better condition than the donor. I did this just from the point of view was it one of the sensors that was going faulty and drawing too much current from the board.Is all up and running and seems fine. Just out of curiosity what makes the model have a 1600 spin speed, is it the motor alone, the motors drive unit, motor drive unit and motor as a pair. Just wondering as I’ve kept all the bits taken out of my machine as possible spares.
