    SAMURI, Thank you for your advice.

    Methinks a new fridge is the order of the day. The problem with that is that the fridge is under a work surface and is boxed in. Note that there is an air gap around all outer surfaces. The fridges that I have looked at are either too high or too wide to fit 🙁

    How can I identify the evaporator sensor ❓ I assume that it is a thermistor. Once identified, is there a simple test with a multimeter that can be carried out to determine whether it is faulty ❓
