ParticipantHi. I also had an EFO error code. This post was helpful because there were 2 things that needed fixing and 1 of them was the aqua stop hose which had tripped and had a red dot showing. I removed and replaced with a standard universal hose. All good. However the error code EFO was still showing and washer wasn’t working. I tried the tilting 45 degrees (no water came out and I don’t think this is the best plan – rather do the below first) and cleaning the filter (which did need a drain and clean) but that didn’t help. So I removed the back of the washer (easy just unscrew 6 screws and remove plastic cover) – make sure appliance is unplugged and water hose disconnected to be safe. What you see inside on the floor of the base is a small circuit on a square of polystyrene which must act as a float and if water gets in to the base it will lift and push the circuit up which causes the error and stops the machine working. I simple placed the circuit back in to its place (there are little plastic holes that hold it in place) and it was fixed! Luckily I didn’t have any leak inside the machine. I can only assume the circuit/safety switch was knocked out of place when we were moving and installing the machine. Hope that helps.
