    “K4” Relay for the heater looks like the problem – the housing has burn marks and the solder connection is black & corroded.Looks like a trip to Currys with the wife, the machine is over 6 years old , it’s not failed before so i think we had a good run from it !     Thanks for that good point, i have just tested for continuity from controller to pump ,they are good.
