The oven is in a fitted recess, and I’m not going to try taking anything apart. Probably it’s time to call in an engineer from the company. Thanks for all your input!

At the top of the oven are the Grill elements but there’s no visible fan or a grill for one.

The only fan that I know of, and is visible, is the one at the back of the oven inside. But when the oven does ‘cut out’, there is not the usual ‘hum’ of a fan. It’s just silent until it cools down and it will start up again. In day-to-day usage it’s working fine when cooking something for 20-30 minutes. It only cuts out if I want to cook, say, a chicken or joint of meat for an an hour or longer.

I read the info on the link you included. It says …. your oven will go totally dead after about ten to fifteen minutes, no lights, no clock or anything else will power up.
But when our oven cuts out, the clock still works, it’s just the heat and the fan that ceases to funtion.
