you say you powered the pump and proved it worked How and did you make it pump up to the draw ?

I purchased the machine in 2016, it was one of their premium models.
Underneath the sump pump, on the left hand side, there are 2 metal prongs which I assume monitor the water level somehow? I’d managed to get the pump to operate by drying the prongs and then submerging them in a container of water in order to simulate the sump being full – which would then I assume trigger the pump to the reservoir, some of this would then ordinarily be cycled back through the condenser to clean it and end up back in the sump?
I tried the same technique tonight, but for whatever reason the pump wouldn’t switch on, so perhaps it is intermittent? Right now the machine is sat with its error light on for a full condensate tank.
I’d found the sump pump online for £70/$80 which I’d happily spend if I knew that was the issue.
