    Are there you are kwatt!

Take both points about machine being overloaded, although I didn’t think it was. As I say, it went through a Quick wash OK. So why not Normal one? Doesn’t stack up for me.

Also, have only had this machine for a few months and, as it cost so much, I am really looking after it. I measure the detergent and as we are in a soft water area hardly use any at all. I clean the machine on a 95 deg wash once a month and check filter regularly. I dry out the drawer after every wash and leave it slightly open. Door is left ajar as well. So it has plenty of tlc!

One thing we haven’t been able to do though is get the little black tube off and are frightened to give it a good yank in case we break it.

Also, you mentioned in a post on Moneysaving Forum I think, that one of your engineers mentioned not to use conditioner? As just adding gunk.
Any advice on using or not?

Many thanks to everyone for all their help and advice, greatly appreciated.

I didn’t think it was overloaded but maybe the machine thinks different! If that was the case why did it work OK on a Quick wash? I find this machine very spooky, it’s got a mind of it’s own!

    It worked, absolutely no problem.

Do you have any idea why the machine should get stuck as it did? I would like to know, particularly if it’s anything I’ve done wrong though can’t think what.

Still, at least I’ve got extemely clean clothes now!

As I am not sure whether the machine even reached a rinse cycle or got stuck on the wash one, I am going to run it through a Quick Wash without detergent and see if that works.

Do you think this will be OK?

    Hi there,

It wasn’t trying to spin, I know what you are describing, but that wasn’t happening. It was just ‘washing’ if you know what I mean. Still had all the water in it, hadn’t drained so wasn’t attempting a spin cycle. Don’t know how long it had been like this as machine is downstairs in a utility and main living area is upstairs, so didn’t notice. Let’s just suppose you are right and it was trying to spin, why was it showing 1 minute left when it hadn’t used the conditioner?

Also, when I reset the machine and selected Drain and Spin, there was no problem with balancing the load, it just drained and did a spin.
