After testing everything on the unit and finding no fault i decided to order a control card.
Having arrived and fitted this the machine turns on but i now get a constant flashing error signal (no gaps) and it will not do anything else.
The old card had a positive mechanical click when i pressed the buttons on the control card and i notice the new card does not?
Any ideas?
Am i missing something?paretoman

Sorry if i appeared rude. It was meant to be light humour.
I presume the WI switch is the micro switch with the diaphram operating mechanism. i have had this out and checked it. If i fill the sump with water should it operate?paretoman

By “start button” i presume you mean the button you press after the “on” button to start the programme?. If so the answer is “Yes”.

What the hell is a “WI”. Talk english man. I presume that by holding the start button i reset the programme?

When i turn the washer on the drain motor is constantly running. I have had the water switch out and checked it and the micro switch is working fine. There is also no clogging of the switch mechanism.
The input solenoid valve coil is working (valve is sealed unit so cannot see this working) and so is the main pump (all tested independantly).
I am still thinking that the unit is stuck in drain mode and that the main card is faulty. Anyone got any ideas?paretoman

Tested drain pump motor and it is working fine. Checked float switch and this is OK. Put back in situ and the unit is giving same 4 flash code but now there is no water coming in to washer?. Could this be the real fault?.
