Pump replacement was pretty straightforward. Turn off power then disconnect the water supply hose. I drained as much water as I could then put a couple of towels on the floor, lay the D/W on its right hand side as you look at it then remove the 6 base plate screws. You can see the drain pump right away (drain hose connected to it), slacken the drain hose clip with some pliers and push the hoes out of the way. Then just a case of removing the stop screw on the drain pump and the pump assembly twists off its mount, then pull off the 2 spade connectors. Job done, fitting is the process reversed. Don’t forget the towels, you’ll need them………
