ParticipantRe: Neff S4130 Stops mid rinse cycle
Guys
Thank you very much. The unit is still undergoing a wash cycle now (empty but it’s the water I’m after) and so far, all seems well. Judging by the residue marks in the base tray and on the framework, it appears as if water has been ejected from the small hole in the filler matrix which over time has collected in the base tray and tripped the overflow switch. The only reason I could attribute to this was the gunk that came out of the black hose connecting the base of the filler matrix to the sump. Not sure there was enough to block it but I’d guess there was enough to restrict flow.
Here’s hoping that I don’t get a further leak!
Many thanks again
Paul.

I’m impressed with the diagnosis – relax, not sorted yet but having taken the unit out of the hole it hides in (what a pain in the ? – we had the floor tiled with ceramics a few years ago and the tiles don’t go right under the washer – thus, getting it out is painful because you cannot reach the rear legs to adjust them!!!! 👿 – sorted now mind. Guess who will put some more tiles underneath?)
Back to the dishwasher. It will doubtless come as no surprise that the base pan is swimming in water and thus I’m guessing that the disc arrangement near the front of the washer, in the base is the safety overfill switch. Glad that works then!
I’ll have a little look to see if I can tell where the water is coming from and then I expect to shout for an expert – i.e. not me!Thanks

Thanks for that. I’ll check shortly. Is this hose underneath or around the back?
Cheers
