Re: Beko Fridgefreezer (cda653fb/1) too cold

Hi, sorry I have now done a little more digging and found that my thermistor is sealed behind the foam.
The part for sale is for a different model (CDA648FS/1, CA7015FFS, CDA539FW)
as my model is cda653fb/1, what part would I need? and is expanding foam a decent option? I would prefer to use this to ensure complete coverage.
    Many thanks.

Hello K and thank you for the prompt reply.
    May I ask,
I am reasonably competent at soldering so that will not be an issue, my concern is that if
I do make a mistake, the fact that the fridgefreezer is constantly on, may cause a fire risk which I don’t want due to having children in the home.
Also, I may be looking completely in the wrong area but I don’t appear to have the part shown in the thread. I have a small access panel to the rear of the F/F which houses a small pcb with some wires, the panel in where the light is and the area at the bottom rear where the compressor is. Where would be the likely location of the thermistors for this model?
And finally the thread only shows one thermistor being replaced, which one would this be?
Many thanks again for your help.
