    Re: di620 new pcb problem

Hi the Machine serial number is 61020 3793

    The PCB box says C00143206

The machine works but to change the program I have to randomly press the

buttons. let it run through the cycle it decides then choose a new cycle.

I can find no markings on the PCB that show it is the correct PCB.

Do both PCB’s look the same?

    Thanks for your help.

    Best Regards

I checked the PCB box and that is correct there are no PCB markings that identify it is correct for the DI620.

I think it may have software for a slightly different model running in it?

    Re: di620 new pcb problem

    Thanks for the mega tip.

I have now megger ed the heater solinoids and empty pump and switches etc all are ok > 999M ohms but the pump is only 250kOhms so not low enough to trip my RCD but getting there.

I disconnected the earth to the pump to see if I could reset the PCB press and hold the p button after letting the current cycle run no joy.

The voltage across the p button drops to 4.55 v when pressed so looks to be operating. Curiously they read the button into the H8 cpus A/D port.

    Does this sound right?

At a drop of only 0.5 volts looks like they must be reading it as a analogue input rather than a logic level?? bad design ?.

I have spent way way to much time and money on this machine.

It still wants to run on cycle 3 so i am letting it run with the pump earth disconnected. It meggers ok like that!!!!
not really willing to buy a new pump just to see………..

I would really like to isolate the fault just for my own satisfaction.

It is so frustrating being locked in some ones test program cycle with no way of restarting it even if I find the fault. lets lose power off memory. just always empty on start up?

Thanks for you help with this

so why are integrated machines more expensive than stand alone machines when you actually buy less (no outer shell) basically the same insides?

    Re: di620 new pcb problem

update it runs through which ever cycle i set it on ant then bleeps 2 times and then sits flashing the cycle light it has just completed which is correct according to the manual. Trouble is to select a new cycle I have to randomly press and hold the P button and then the pcb button then it works for one cycle doing everything correctly heating up emptying etc.

Help I thing it must be stuck in some test cycle??

Thanks in advance for any advice.

    Re: di620 new pcb problem

    Thanks for your help.

I can get the unit to reset using the program switch with a mains on and then the switch on the pcb.
But the main p switch does not seem to operate after that but the on PCB switch does change the program correctly.
    Any instructions most gratefully received.

i am currently letting it run through a 2 (normal cycle and see what happens)
