I spoke too soon, unlike the picture on the link, there is one white cable coming from the motor not two on my cooker.
However on closer inspection the bottom blue wire is a lot thicker and not the same as the one from the zn limitor.
So its possible that is correct and the wiring is a little differant on my machine as the clock display panel is not the same.
My cooker looks very similar in every respect apart from that.
and there is spade connector with a witness mark on it next to the orange wire on the center display/clock pcb, and on the left control the picture shows the ZN limitor blue wire going to the terminal above the yelow and white which is the same as mine. its just the spade terminal obscured by the zn limitor which I can verify but in all likelness its for the second white wire from the limitor.Maybe it’s time to call an engineer with experience with Electrolux ovens and doesn’t need the old one to be in place for reference !.

Sorry, I should of made myself fully aware of the rules before my first posting.
It was never my intention to solicit “proffesional” advice,or suggested non qualified owners of the the same cooker undertake “live testing” of any kind on my behalf.
However none of the five parts suppliers I’ve contacted know how it wires in or actualy make a point of listing on thier website they do not give wiring information or advice. I’m also having great difficulty just finding an engineer who will supply and fit the part once they know the original part isn’t still in place for thier reference.
I use a multimeter daily at work in my role as Electronics Technician and consider myself competent to carry out DIY repairs to my home appliances and have never had a problem untill now that is !,rather than sketching on a notebook I put my trust in my mobile phone ! 😥
Again my apologies for the rule break, theres no edit button or delete option showing on my original post, just checked the FAQ and once a post has been replied to a “normal” user cant edit it.
Regards
Peter
