Many thanks. You’re absolutely right, weepy valve. Have popped the bonnet, removed the 4-way valve and I can blow air through it. Seems to be the red valve that directly feeds the rear of the drum.

Will place an order for the C00202788.

I’ve visited UKWhitegoods several times over the years when an appliance has gone awry and always found the answer and the right part. Thanks again!

Isolated the cold about 30 hours ago. No sign of water in drum yet. Was wondering if there are any other causes that I should eliminate before ordering a replacement valve.
