Re: Bosch SGS5332GB/17 No Light when switched on – appears d

Checked the circuit board and re-soldered (there were some suspect joints) but no no avail.
Checked through the rest of the wiring and components as best I could.
    Still nothing.
Due to the un-known history and evidence of previous repairs (missing screws and cabling not replaced in correct routing) I have decided replace the complete machine.
    Thanks for your help though.

    Sad indeed.
I am taking the board in to work tomorrow to check out for dry joints etc.
Could you clarify the switch and board wiring for me?
To the main switch I have the live and neutral (brown and blue)
Then there is a grey/black, which appears to switch to live (240V) and is wired to the control board.
At the control board end of this grey/black there is a neighbouring red wire which disappears down into the machine. a voltage check across the red and grey/black gives 50V, yet between the blue neutral and the red I get 0V.
At the main switch there are also 2 white/red wires, one going to the controller. could you tell me what this is? The last terminal at the switch has 3 white wires, 2 going to the controller. Any suggestions?
I am very grateful for any help, as I find the not knowing very frustrating, especially if it could be something reasonably straight-forward.
    Kind regards

    Thanks for the prompt reply.
I did look at the boards, but nothing poked me in the eye – perhaps not looking close enough.
Is a blown triac obvious? If so, how do I identify what it controls?
Are there any wiring diagrams available?
    Thanks again
