I’ve got the water inlet valve in but I can’t get the plastic end of the old one to attach to the new one

Is there some special trick to it?

I’ve had this exact problem – I’ve ordered the part – is it easy to install – I have no idea when it comes to DIY!

Does the part include instructions to fit it into this model?
