most of these machines are known to develop a leak on the soap dispenser, this falls on to the drum and in turn follows the curvature of the drum on to the motor,
so sometimes it would blow the fuse and sometimes not, over the years several times we would be called out for this same intermittent fault, and if you watched teh machine long enough you would then see it leaking.

the heaters in both fridge and freezer have all been checked, and is ok
