Thanks Dave I was thinking something like that. Its just when I read on here about D7 issues I wondered if you could get intermittent D7 problems.

I was wondering if anyone can help me with my issue. My elderly mother has the same washer dryer. Just under 2 years old. 5 months or so ago the machine kept cycling through the spin settings in the display as if the button for spin speed was stuck. I messed around with and seemed to get it working without doing much. It was fine for a while but now it is having problems with powering up. It will work sometimes and other times you need to press the power button several times to get it to go on.

Is this fault likely to be D7 related or potentially the front PCB where the power and spin function buttons are located? Any advice would be welcome.
