    Briefly: when you open the control box at the top of the fridge there is a little connector box on the right-hand side with four wires coming out of it. Notice which way up the connector box is before unplugging it and then cut the top wire and the third from top wire (dark blue and dark brown) and join the two ends which are still connected to the connector together (so that they loop back to the connector). Tape up the free ends of the wires and then plug back in. That’s it!!

    If this is not clear enough I will try to find time to make a drawing. I dont have access to a scanner unfortunately.

    This quote is a bit dated but if its author is still active may I have your help please? It seems you found and fixed he fault quite simply. If you have in the meantime made a sketch I can refer to, I would appreciate it. The symptons decribed are just as on our machine. Is the a manual I can refer to on line?
