Why do you say that? The powder gets the dishes clean and hasn’t caused any problems (i regularly clean the filter, spray arms and run a 75 deg wash per month with fairy dishwasher cleaner).

Thanks for your replies guys. Looks like i will have to switch to an all-in-one detergent. The only ones i know of are Finish and Fairy…which one would you recommend?

But they would cost a small fortune as i use my dishwasher at least twice a day. Also i can adjust the dishwasher powder dosage based on the load (sometimes i run a quickwash), whereas i would be forced to use a whole tablet for even small loads.
