Seems like neither the heater element or dryer motor are not being turned on…. does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?
Drum is turning ok, and seems to go through drying cycle, but no heat…Any experts out there who can point me in the right direction?
Many Thankspurl

Belated update on this …
Got some new bearings from UKWG..
I fitted these by removing the bearing carrier through the access panel at the back of the machine. Fitted the new bearings with a big hammer and a couple of pieces of wood. Then spent many hours struggling to get the bearing carrier back-in, get the bolt holes lined up and bolted-up. Needed to put the machine on its sides and on its front to try to do this. I did it in the end, but I figure it would have been a lot less hassle to take the drum out from the front (a more normal approach)..Thanks..

Thanks Martin – I guess I have to fully remove the whole drum to get at these… Can the bearings be extracted from the cross-shaped carrier and replaced? Do I need a special tool to get them out? Will I need to replace the drum shaft?
Can anyone help with the right part numbers?
Many thanks..

Thanks nomadPaul – yep element is O/C – you’re a genius.
Do you know if I need to take the whole front off this model to remove it, or will the element pull out of the aperture covered by the bottom panel?
Many thanks.. -
