ParticipantWell I got home late but checked the door seal and it was a little mucky in the bottom corners. Gave it a good clean and ran a cycle – no leak !
I thought I’d come back and let you know the outcome rather than leave another thread open ended. Thanks for the assistance it’s been much appreciated

ParticipantAhh ok I’ll check the seal when I get home.
thank you.
I did clean the filter for the first time in 2 years and it wasn’t too bad surprisingly.Rake
ParticipantThanks Dave, it’s about 4 or 5 inches behind the door seal. Behind an upright that houses the door spring mechanism. It seems to be a drip catcher as the top of the white plastic bit is open and the blue pipe does carry water to the sump.
I’ll get a better pic in a bit. Just at my mums now.
actually I have a little video herehttps://youtube.com/shorts/6_ALcmRGAC4?si=bFrfFgCjP3XxA_pv
hopefully works. In the first few seconds the water drops around the foot but it’s coming from near the blue pipe area where it attaches to the tub

ParticipantAhh found a leak ! Not sure how to fix it though so any advice would be appreciated.
the leak is from behind the metal bit that the spring and rope sit in and is at the base of this on the right hand side and seems to be coming from the back of what looks like a small clear plastic drip channel connected to a blue clear plastic hose.

ParticipantFound where the blue rod goes.
tipped machine forward to pour off the water, plugged it back in and I can hear and see water being pumped so I assume the cycle has started. So float switch has reset.i guess the remaining question is should I be looking for a leak ? I’ve looked underneath with the cycle on and cannot see any obvious drips or leaks
thanks again

take the cover off the bottom under the door
make sure the plug is out and see if there is water down there. if yes mop it out and try it while watching for leaks
Dave
Thanks Dave,
I took the bottom front plate off and yes there is water in the bottom tray but not on the floor. I also took the side panels off for a better look. I take it I will need to remove the excess water and would I need to reset any kind of float switch ?A blue plastic rod with grey end popped out of the left side panel top right and I cant see where it is suppoed to go back too.
Thanks !

ParticipantThanks Both. I kind of figured this out last night as it was behaving in the opposite way so I thought the latch must be engaging the microswitch when it should’nt so had to be the latch flipped – I took the screws out of the inside of the door and exposed the latch, removed the latch and flipped the latch back to the open position, re installed and we are all good now.
Thanks !
