Lol you’re absolutely right, stupid auto correct, definitely not bushes! Although perhaps if there was a couple of privets or maybe a nice hydrangea in there I might have more luck fixing it!

Would there be excess play in the pulley or what? It seemed ok when I had the belt on and off last week, but I was focused on the motor at that point. Its such an intermittent fault its driving me insane. I had it doing a small wash today no problems but then I did a slightly bigger one and it washed ok but didn’t spin argh!

Re: Hotpoint Aquarius FDAL 11010 Not draining

When it started this morning it drained and filled all sounded normal so I left it went out came back two hours later and it was quiet I left it for a bit to see if it was actually doing something but it didn’t. I guess I can check the door switch in the morning.

It switches on and lights up as normal. When I press the start button nothing happens at all. This morning I switchedon’t it on and off a couple of times and then it started and got through the first part of a cycle. After four hours it hadn’t done much other than the first rinse so I switched it off and checked the filters, after taking them out I realised that there was still a lot of water in the drain so I scooped that out to see if there was a blockage I could clear bit no joy. I am anot electronic engineering so I have plenty of diagnostic skills and some technical knowledge so I am quite confident I just don’t want tor take the side off in cramped conditions when I should be going in through some hidden access panel in the front/back ?
