I found a 2p coin in the sump tube and a 5p coin totally blocking the waste outlet hose tube. I had to disconnect them from the pump and remove them with a pliers. Engineers told me i needed a new pump and they would charge over 80 pounds if they had to do it.
I was going to order a pump off the net but was glad i investigated further as the machine is now working perfectly. I found that removing and checking the pump to be very easy.
Therefore it vital that no coins and paper are in the pockets when clothes are being washed and that the filter is checked every so often.
